1. Today in class, we saw primary sources from September 11, 2001.
2. I asked that you write a paragraph on the following:
How did President Bush handle the events of September 11, 2001?
3. One may answer this by recalling his own words about the events.
He stated he needed to project calm. Why?
President Bush also said he ordered to take down all aircraft from the skies? Why did he do this?
President Bush stated he saw the sites within the first three days of the event. How did he perform in front of the American people?

1. Make a chart with three columns. The left column should have the keywords, the middle column the part of speech, and the last column should be for the definition.
2. You have to find the parts of speech and definitions for the following words: era, archaeology, artifact, fossil,
anthropology, species, found, precise, integral, decade, evidence, primary source, secondary source,
point of view, bias, conclusion, scholarly, finite, interpretation, credentials, plagiarize, data, and violate.
3. Please have these ready for next week. The Vocabulary Test Will Be Next Wednesday.
